Ch21: Questions Answered

"Kneazles," Greyson said when they reached the stone gargoyle guarding the staircase to the headmistress's office. The gargoyle moved aside to reveal the steep, winding staircase.     Greyson pushed Luna ahead to walk up the stairs. As he and King followed, Luna heard the gargoyle return to it's spot in front of the staircase. She heard someone laugh from outside. Lucky,  she thought jealously.     "Go!" Greyson snapped impatiently. Luna shook herself and began up the staircase. King whispered something. "Shh!" Greyson scolded softly.     Luna came to a stop outside the door at the top of the stairs. She knocked.     "Come in!" Professor McGonagall called. Luna froze. Her stomach felt like it had just been tied in to a square-knot by her heart.     Greyson reached over Luna's head and pushed the door open. Luna walked through slowly. She turned around to watch King come through the door. She eyed him suspiciously.     "Potter

Ch20: Voices

"Why didn't you wake me?" Jenny said incredulously.     "Well, you weren't asleep yet," Luna replied.     "Why didn't you bring me?"     "Jenny, shh! Luna, we need to find the Resurrection Stone!" Ray said urgently.     "I know where  it is, I just don't know exactly... where it is."     Ray gave her an exasperated look. "Well where is it?"     "Somewhere around the edge of the Forbidden Forest. That's where my dad dropped it in his seventh year, at least. Although..."     "Somewhere around the- We can't search the whole forest!" Ray slumped back in his seat.     "Well...It might not be there. If Delphini Riddle is looking for it-"     "No!" Jenny said unexpectedly. "She didn't! I know she didn't! It's there, it has to be! Let's go find it!"     Jenny got out of her seat and started towards the portrait hole. "Jenny, wait! We can

Ch19: The Other Melodin

Luna ran up the staircase leading from the Great Hall to the second floor of the castle. If she hurried, no one would even notice she was ever gone. She still couldn't help thinking, Who's the other melodin? Could it be M.M.?     Suddenly, Luna bumped in to something.     "Ouch!" Luna and another voice said simultaneously.     Luna looked up and saw Clayton King rubbing his head. "What're you doing here?" he asked.     "What are you  doing here?" Luna countered. "The Slytherin common room is in the dungeons!"     "Well what's a Gryffindor doing walking to her common room in the middle of the night?"     "It's the morning!" Luna rolled her eyes.     "...What are you, Potter, a human clock?"     Luna ears turned red. She hated  when people insulted her for being right! She couldn't help if she was almost a human encyclopedia!     King bumped in to her shoulder as he went down the stairs back

Ch18: Voldemort's Child

Luna slumped down on the tree behind her. That was bad. Very, very bad. So bad that it was the baddest bad thing she had ever done. So bad-     Suddenly, the ground started shaking, like an earthquake was happening. Suddenly, hundreds of centaurs erupted from the line of trees behind her. Luna stood up straighter. For a minute, she thought they were going to trample over her for what she'd done to Vatacinium( Overkill, she'd thought), but they kept running straight out of the clearing. Then, Vatacinium, who she recognized easily, swept her on to his back and ran the opposite direction, out of the clearing and out of the forest. Once they were out, he stopped, and Luna slid of his back. It was already dawn. Had she been in the forest all night?     "I'm sorry Vatacinium! I'm so, so sorry! I don't know what happened!" Luna cried.     "I do." Vatacinium said. "Do not worry about that, child. But, there is something you should  worry about.&
