Ch21: Questions Answered

    "Kneazles," Greyson said when they reached the stone gargoyle guarding the staircase to the headmistress's office. The gargoyle moved aside to reveal the steep, winding staircase.     Greyson pushed Luna ahead to walk up the stairs. As he and King followed, Luna heard the gargoyle return to it's spot in front of the staircase. She heard someone laugh from outside. Lucky,  she thought jealously.     "Go!" Greyson snapped impatiently. Luna shook herself and began up the staircase. King whispered something. "Shh!" Greyson scolded softly.     Luna came to a stop outside the door at the top of the stairs. She knocked.     "Come in!" Professor McGonagall called. Luna froze. Her stomach felt like it had just been tied in to a square-knot by her heart.     Greyson reached over Luna's head and pushed the door open. Luna walked through slowly.     "Why didn't you wake me?" Jenny said incredulously.     "Well, you weren't asleep yet," Luna replied.     "Why didn't you bring me?"     "Jenny, shh! "Well where is it?"     "Somewhere around the edge of the Forbidden Forest. That's where my dad dropped it in his seventh year, at least. Although..."     "Somewhere around the- We can't search the whole forest!" Ray slumped back in his seat.     "Well...It might not be there. If Delphini Riddle is looking for it-"     "No!"
