Ch16: Llama Rock

Luna felt strange as she walked through the forest- like someone (or something) was following her. She kept hearing footsteps behind her- but know one had seen her go into the forest...or had they?     "Hello...?" Luna asked quietly. Nobody answered. Luna walked on.      Suddenly, Luna tripped.     "Bloody heck!" Luna looked down to see what she had tripped. it was a stone...and there was another gigantic rock next to it. The second rock was almost as big as luna. It also looked a bit like a llama...      It was then that Luna realised the first stone was still in her hand. She turned it over. There were strange marking on it- like an eye- like the symbol of the Deathly Hallows! This is the Resurrection Stone! Luna thought excitedly.     A rustle came from the bush next to Luna.      "Hello?" Nothing answered Luna except another rustle. She dropped the Resurrection Stone next to the llama rock...

Ch15: The Un-Forbidden Forest

It had already been a week since Luna had been back from Grimmauld Place, but she hadn't had much luck finding out about the Resurrection Stone. She still hadn't told Jenny and Ray either...     "What are you doing studying on a Saturday, Luna? Only Ray does that!"     "Hey! It's perfectly normal to study on weekends!" Ray snapped. What neither of Luna friends knew was that she wasn't studying.     It was Saturday morning and Luna had gotten up at the crack of dawn to read the only book she could find that even had the words "resurrection" and "stone" in the same sentence. This book...was The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Luna knew that she wouldn't find much information on the stone other than how to use it and how it was made by Death, but she read it over about seven times a day in hope it would give her an idea.     Luna slammed the book shut and walked up the staircase to the girls dormitory. There was nothing in that boo...

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!!!!!! I hope you eat lots of pumpkin pie...or maybe only I do that...Anyway, here are some fun facts about turkeys: Turkeys are more than just big chickens–more than 45 million years of evolution separates the two species. The wild turkey was hunted nearly to extinction by the early 1900s, when the population reached a low of around 30,000 birds. But restoration programs across North America have brought the numbers up to seven million today. There are six subspecies of wild turkey, all native to North America. The pilgrims hunted and ate the eastern wild turkey,  M. gallopavo silvestris , which today has a range that covers the eastern half of the United States and extends into Canada. These birds, sometimes called the forest turkey, are the most numerous of all the turkey subspecies, numbering more than five million. The Aztecs domesticated another subspecies,  M. gallapavo gallopavo , the south Mexican wild turkey, and t...

Ch14: Home

"Where are we, Dad?" Luna asked, standing up and coughing.     "Home," Harry said simply.     "But-"     "C'mon, Lils," Harry said, also standing up. "I wanna tell you something in private,"     "But, Dad," Luna said as she followed her father."This is Grimmuald Place, not Godric’s Hollow. What are we doing here?"           Harry didn't reply. As he opened the door of an empty bedroom for Luna to enter, he sighed. "Look, you know of the tale of the three brothers, right?" Luna nodded. "...It's real,"       Luna sat there in shock. After a minute, she said, "Wait, does that mean Babbity Rabbity is real too?"         Harry chuckled and Luna laughed too although her question had been serious. "Both James and Albus know, and it's very important for you to know too, as we are the descendants of the third brother, Ignotus" Luna's eyes couldn't go any wid...

Ch13: Sayonara, School

Luna steadied herself then flew towards the grounds with James to confront her father on his secret arrival. After James had told everyone to carry on they turned to their dad and noticed that he had a worried expression. "I need to talk to Lily" he said. Luna gulped, he never called her Lily. Harry nodded at them and said "I'll give you a minute" he walked to the door giving a weak smile.       "You okay?" James asked worried. Luna gave him a small smile and said      "It's fine, It's just Dad".       James attempted a small smile back.  "I know, I'm just worried about you Loony" Luna softly chuckled at the nickname. Only her brothers were allowed to call her that. "See you," she told him. He gave her a hug then flew away giving her a wave.     Luna walked towards her father bracing herself for punishment, but instead of that he lead her towards the Headmasters office. Right before they entered he said ...
