Ch13: Sayonara, School

Luna steadied herself then flew towards the grounds with James to confront her father on his secret arrival. After James had told everyone to carry on they turned to their dad and noticed that he had a worried expression. "I need to talk to Lily" he said. Luna gulped, he never called her Lily. Harry nodded at them and said "I'll give you a minute" he walked to the door giving a weak smile.
"You okay?" James asked worried. Luna gave him a small smile and said
    "It's fine, It's just Dad".
James attempted a small smile back. "I know, I'm just worried about you Loony" Luna softly chuckled at the nickname. Only her brothers were allowed to call her that. "See you," she told him. He gave her a hug then flew away giving her a wave.

Luna walked towards her father bracing herself for punishment, but instead of that he lead her towards the Headmasters office. Right before they entered he said "Lils, this isn't about your rule breaking, it's about her." Luna inhaled sharply. "But it will help you, I need you to stay with me at all times and never let go of my hand, you got it?"
"But, Dad-" Harry shot her a warning look. She nodded and threw her hands around her troubled father. He had gone through so much at a young age, and now had to do it again just for her.

They entered quickly and Luna saw the headmistress, Professor McGonnagal, sitting at her table sharing the same expression as her father. "Lily! Mr. Potter! Take a seat" Luna didn't open her mouth to tell her she was Luna and instead sat down quickly running her hand up and down her stomach to stop the fear. She said "Lily, what you are going into is going to be very scary and fearsome but you need to stand tall and be brave" she nodded once again. "Very well, eat this" she handed her a little pill. She swallowed it and felt a little stronger than before. Her dad had also taken the pill. "Are you ready?" she asked she nodded again. She handed them a flower vase. "Hold on Lils," her dad said. There was a sharp pull on her navel and then they were gone in a flash of blue light.
