Ch8: Betrayal of the NumNums

     "Jenny, nobody loves NumNums more than me, but you really have to put less sugar in you porridge!"

    "Miss Potter!"

    Luna jumped. She, Jenny, the rest of the Gryffindors and the Slytherins were in potions class with they're potions professor, tobias Greyson.

    "If I may ask you, what exactly are NumNums?" Greyson said, glaring at Luna.

    "Err-" Luna began.

    "A point from Gryffindor and i would very much appreciate if you wouldn't talk in the middle of my lectures." he snapped. King laughed out loud.

    Finally, what felt like a couple of hours later, potions class was over-though not for Luna.

    "Stay, Potter!" Greyson called to her as she made to walk out the door. 

    Luna turned around nervously. "Yes, sir?"

    "Professor! I finished my essay!" A tall girl with a long brown ponytail rushed through the door. She looked at Luna, then at greyson, then back at Luna. "Oh...err..." She held out a rolled up piece of parchment.

    "It's already late Kim, I will not accept late work. Now, go!" Greyson snapped.

    "Oh, okay...Bye." She sulked out the door.

    "Sir?" Luna repeated nervously.

    "Potter, your potions marks are incredibly low. If you don't get them up soon I'll have to give you remedial potions and trust me, I don't think either of us wants that." He said coolly. "Now go."

    Luna walked out the door and saw the girl from before sitting down with her back to the wall at the end of the corridor, reading her essay. Luna ran up to her. 

    'Hello?" The girl said.

    "Hi, I just wanted to make sure your alright..."

    "Oh, yeah, sure!" She dropped the piece of parchment and stood up. "I'm Skylar Kim! Who're you?"

    "Lily Luna Potter.'

    "Really? Cool!" She held out her hand. "Friends?"

    luna stared at her for a moment. she had never met anyone who just randomly asked people if they wanted to be friends. "Erm- Okay!"

    "Yay!" The girl skipped away.
