Ch5: From Malfoy to King

The compartment door slid open again.
" We've told you there are no rats in this compartment!" Jenny said.
"I wasn't looking for a rat..." said a cold voice behind them that sounded strangely familiar to Luna. Although she had a feeling it hadn't been as cold when she'd heard it before.
Luna and Jenny turned around and found a tall, thin boy with blonde hair and blue eyes standing in the doorway. Behind him was another...humongous boy. Luna goggled at the humongous boy for a second or two before turning to the boy in front and saying,
    "Who are you?"
    "Excuse me?" the boy said.
"She asked who you are." Jenny said loudly as though talking to a deaf person.
"Clayton King," He said glaring at Jenny. He turned back to Luna, "Don't you remember me?" at Luna confused look, he added, "Oh, you would remember me as Clayton Malfoy."
Luna remembered him now. That was why he sounded familiar...Clayton Malfoy had been her best friend from the time she'd met him at the park when she was five up until age nine, when he'd moved away due to his parents divorcing. Everyone had said his new father was a known death eater, but she'd never believed it. He'd also seemed much nicer before he moved...
"What do you want?" Luna asked. She knew it sounded rude to say that, but her brain was too foggy to think of another reply.
"...Nothing." Clay looked hurt and angry at the same time.
"Then get out," Luna said. She didn't know why she was being so rude. Was it because he'd given her the necklace she was still wearing around her neck now and expected her to be fine with him leaving her behind with no warning? Or was it because he seemed so mean now? Luna didn't know, but she just wanted him out of the compartment right now.
"Gladly, Potter." King turned around, walked out of the compartment, and slammed the door.
